Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy's operations, ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications while providing exceptional patient care. Duties
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
* Engage with patients to provide information on medications, answer queries, and offer guidance on proper usage.
* Manage inventory, including ordering, restocking, and ensuring the proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
* Perform routine administrative tasks such as processing prescriptions, handling payments, and managing insurance claims.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.
* Ideally the applicant should be Flu and Covid vaccine trained
* Qualifications as an ACT is beneficial
Experience
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician here in the UK is a requirement
* Familiarity with medication administration practices and patient care protocols is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
