Do you have a proven background in Credit Control or finance, preferably with experience of self-billing and data management?

If so, we have an opportunity for a Credit Reconciliation Specialist – 12 month Fixed Term Contract to join our Finance team and to provide strong analytical ability, problem solving, attention to detail and excellent communication skills for the department and act as an interface between the company and the customer.

* Experience of working with Self Billing Accounts
* Ability to manage and manipulate large complex data sets
* Present findings of anomalies to wider business, explain reasons why the data is or isn’t accurate and offer solutions to rectify any issues which arise
* Ensure prompt collection of outstanding debts efficiently and effectively
* Highlight problems and issues as they arise; deal with unallocated cash and reconciliations of client accounts
* Prepare monthly overdue and problem debt reports to be shared and discussed with Senior Credit Reconciliation Specialist
* Reduce the over 60+ day debts & monitor overall credit balances of accounts
* Any other duties as required within the scope of credit control and related functions
* Conduct regular meetings with Sales Managers to discuss outstanding debts – via Microsoft Teams or face to face
* Achieve personal and team targets. Identify and action opportunities for personal and professional development
* Complete work set and meet time deadlines accordingly. Deal with ad‑hoc requests with minimal disruption to work
* Adhere to the procedures, best practice, and templates relevant to the role
* Monitor credit limit in accordance with our Credit Insurance and report overdue debts to them promptly to avoid a claim being rejected
* Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business
