We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who is specifically accountable for delivering sales and margin growth for your customer base.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships within a targeted territory.
* Develop sales strategies and tactics tailored to the required territory.
* Communicate effectively with Branch, Regional, and Senior Management.
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, field‑based trainers, and product managers.
* Analyse business intelligence software to drive performance.
* Influence branch management and the sales team to achieve goals.
Qualifications
* Customer‑focused approach with excellent selling skills.
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
* Commercial awareness and knowledge of competitor activity and market conditions.
* Extensive experience with customer account management.
* Previous experience delivering sales and margin growth in a B2B environment.
* Experience in finding and developing new business.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure towards deadlines.
