HGV Class 2 Driver (LGV C) - Castleford (WF6)

The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Driver for our well-established client based in Castleford (WF6).

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 06:00 - 07:00
• Finish times vary depending on workload

Pay Rate

• £16.50 per hour
• + Holiday pay accrual

Job Role

This role involves delivering timber products to businesses across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries
• Strapping and securing loads on a flatbed vehicle
• Some manual handling (handballing) as required
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

✅ Driver Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (LGV C) licence
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 points (no major endorsements)
• Previous experience with load securing and strapping
• Strong work ethic and reliability
