About the Role

Join our Power Commercial team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and you will deliver complex work that really matters to our business and become involved in some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the industry. We encourage both full‑time and part‑time applications, knowing that the right person for the role may not always be able to commit to full‑time hours.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage costs for infrastructure projects and identify commercial risks and opportunities
* Deliver varied commercial duties, including procuring and managing the supply chain
* Optimize commercial performance through diligent cost control and value‑for‑money opportunities, while achieving required standards and quality for our customers
* Create and maintain commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Handle contract administration with clients and subcontractors
* Support adherence to the Gated Business Lifecycle process
* Mentor and develop junior team members
* Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional certification
* Commercially manage a large infrastructure project or a portfolio of smaller projects
Who we’re looking for
* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
* Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards)
* Experience with key contracts such as NEC
* Good communication skills
* Excellent teamwork and role‑model qualities

* Experience with NEC 3 & 4 contracts
