The Role
We are seeking an ambitious Senior Account Executive (SAE), or up-and-coming Account Manager, to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The role is a pivotal position within our agency, providing opportunity to learn management skills, content development, and project management capabilities.
This position is a full-time, hybrid role reporting to the London office (Holborn based team) approximately 2 – 3 times per week.
Responsibilities
* Ability to lead on drafting of a variety of materials, e.g. disease backgrounder/factsheet, infographic or website copy, initial draft press release, internal communications, or social media copy.
* Demonstrate leadership on small/medium-sized projects with minimal input from senior leadership.
* Effectively delegate and support the development of junior team members to ensure deadlines are met and projects are delivered compliantly and to a high standard.
* Conduct thorough reviews of all materials drafted by junior colleagues, providing support by sharing initial feedback before seeking senior input.
* Take a prominent role in client calls and meetings, overseeing elements of the agenda.
* Confidently engage in elements of discussion when presenting to clients or providing project status updates.
* Provide advice to clients on issues and particular projects based on your experience to date.
* Show a degree of financial awareness – developing and managing cost trackers for each account.
* Ability to confidently participate in a media sell-in (medical / trade / regional / consumer features) and help build relationships with relevant journalists.
* Demonstrate an understanding of key social media channels used by our clients (X, LinkedIn, etc) – becoming increasingly familiar with paid vs organic posting and compliance considerations.
* Maintain a solutions-focus mindset to overcome barriers to deliver a successful project, presenting a proposed solution and seeking support from senior team members as required.
About You
Our ideal candidate must have:
* A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience (ideally of an agency background)
* A relevant university degree is preferred, but not essential
* Experience supporting communications or marketing campaigns and ability to form relationships with clients / suppliers
* An interest in healthcare and understanding of PR / marketing
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, flexibility and professionalism
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and work collaboratively within a close knit team
* Strong writing skills and close attention to detail
* A desire to make a difference and contribute to a thriving agency culture
* Experience of using Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint to a good standard
