Are you an experienced blue-collar rail recruiter looking for your next big challenge?
McGinley Support Services is expanding our high-performing rail team in Birmingham, and we’re on the lookout for a driven and adaptable Labour Manager / Recruitment Consultant. This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume, fast-paced rail contract, working with some of the most reputable names in the infrastructure and rail sector.
If you have a proven track record in blue-collar rail labour supply or a similar fast-moving, highly regulated industry, and you're ready to hit the ground running—we want to hear from you.
? What You’ll Be Doing:
Labour Management
* Partner with projects to supply the right operatives—on time, with the right skills, at the right place.
* Manage labour movements across multiple sites and regions.
* Regular site visits to clients and operatives across Central England.
* Monitor and report on worker performance and project KPIs.
* Develop new business and nurture long-standing client relationships.
* Promote the full range of McGinley’s services
* Conduct regular site visits to build trust and engagement with operatives.
* Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
What You’ll Need:
* Demonstrable experience in high-volume recruitment—ideally rail or similar sector.
* Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; RDB Pro experience preferred.
* Flexibility to travel extensively across Central England.
* PTS ACDC/DCCR card highly desirable.
