Supported Housing Manager
Cityworx are currently recruiting for an experienced Supported Housing Manager to lead and oversee our Supported Housing and Temporary Family Accommodation services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Supported Housing Team, including Housing Officers and Maintenance Staff, ensuring effective delivery of all housing functions.
* Lead on all aspects of Supported Housing and Temporary Family Accommodation across the group.
* Manage and support third-party partners to maintain high-quality service provision.
* Drive strong performance, customer satisfaction, and full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Take accountability for financial performance, including budget management and cost control.
* Oversee and deliver internal audits to ensure excellence in operational practice and compliance.
* Manage all core housing functions, including tenancy sign-ups, void management, anti-social behaviour (ASB), and safeguarding.
* Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and Housing Ombudsman Code requirements.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and other key stakeholders.
* Oversee income management and rent recovery processes to achieve financial targets.
* Identify, plan, and implement service improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Lead on the recruitment, development, and performance management of the Housing Team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Person Specification
* Proven experience in Supported Housing Management or a similar housing leadership role.
* Strong understanding of housing regulations, safeguarding, and ASB management.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, performance, and compliance.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
* Experience of working with people fleeing domestic abuse
