Role Overview:
A Project Manager in the construction industry with experience in procurement and category management. Responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages resources, and communicates with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
* Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Manage procurement and budgeting for construction projects.
* Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and changes.
* Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively.
* Monitor project performance, report issues, and escalate as needed.
* Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
* Track expenditures and adhere to budgets, making adjustments when necessary.
* Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improvements.
* Travel to UK sites as required.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
