We are advertising for several Bank Logistics/Portering vacancies. As a member of the bank you can choose which shifts and in what localities across our Leicestershire sites you apply for when we release our shifts on a weekly basis.
All roles will provide a range of duties across our Trust sites and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Receipt and distribution of healthcare related products.
* Transportation of linen cages, waste bins/carts in and around hospital environments.
* Patient moves (reception to department or department to department).
* Domestic and reception cover.
* Conveyance and movement of patients by wheelchair, trolley, bed, etc., including assisting clinical staff to reduce risk.
* Ensure all waste is collected, transported and disposed of in accordance with Trust policies and current legislation.
