Overview
Defence Strategic Radio Service (DSRS) is a contract managed by the DSRS Programme Manager. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading a £100m+ communications programme that supports critical military operations globally, shaping the future of strategic radio capability, managing geographically dispersed teams, and driving innovation in defence communications.
The Role
As a Programme Manager, you’ll take the lead on our DSRS contract—an advanced £100m+ programme supporting critical military operations across the globe. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the future of strategic radio capability, manage globally dispersed teams, and drive innovation in defence communications.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
* Lead the successful delivery of all DSRS service elements in line with commercial agreements.
* Manage the integration of strategic capability upgrades into operations.
* Oversee all system upgrades and changes within the DSRS programme.
* Act as a key integration leader across geographically dispersed teams.
* Own financial and commercial performance, including forecasting, risk management, and contract growth.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements. You’ll be based at our Bristol site, with travel to Corsham expected once or twice a week.
Essential Experience
* Proven success in leading services, projects, or programmes
* Skilled in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
* Demonstrated drive for business growth and team development
* Experience of working within highly regulated industry
Qualifications
* A full passport and driving license
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate will be allowed to start on Security Check (SC) security clearance but will need to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) security check once in post. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
