Night veterinary surgeon

We are looking for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and friendly team in a busy 24-hour Medivet practice in Chorley. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality out-of-hours care across several Medivet practices in the region. You’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, with a strong focus on emergency and critical care alongside inpatient management. With a 5 on / 10 off rota, this position offers an excellent work‑life balance while allowing you to build confidence and expertise in ECC. Chorley is a vibrant market town set on the edge of the beautiful West Pennine Moors, offering easy access to both countryside and city life. With excellent motorway links nearby, you can quickly reach major cities, and both Manchester and Liverpool airports are within easy travelling distance—making it an ideal location for both commuting and exploring further afield. Location: Chorley 24 Hour, supporting regional Medivet practices Hours: 7pm – 9am | 5 nights on, 10 nights off Contract: Annualised hours for excellent work‑life balance

• Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
• Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team
• Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
