We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the Acute Physiotherapy team. The role offers a varied caseload with rotations including:
1. Surgical including Critical Care
2. Medical including Assessment Unit
3. Trauma & Elective Orthopaedics
4. Rehabilitation including Stroke Unit
5. Medicine of the Elderly
6. MSK Outpatients
7. Community Rehabilitation including Domiciliary patient group
This position is suitable for new graduates or those looking to develop higher Band 5 skills, with support from senior staff in clinical and leadership development. Participation in weekday and weekend evening on-call rota is mandatory, with flexible working hours over 7 days, to be discussed at interview.
The service provides a friendly and supportive environment, actively promoting Continuing Professional Development through supervision, appraisal system (TURAS), and in-service training.
An active driving license is essential. Consideration will be given to candidates with medical conditions affecting driving, if alternative transportation can be arranged.
