Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Fitter)
Salary:£40,000
Location:Nottinghamshire
Shift Pattern:Double days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)
We are working with a leadingmanufacturer who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineerto join its dynamic team at their advanced production facility in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a market leader in the manufacture of their respected industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs.
* Conduct preventative maintenance as per the PPM schedule using the MaintMaster system.
* Identify and implement improvements to reduce reactive maintenance and enhance production efficiency.
* Support installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring successful integration with production processes.
* Maintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts and liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure availability.
* Work closely with production teams to develop safe, efficient processes and improve site operations.
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
* Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including the ability to read technical drawings.
* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience in the concrete or heavy manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
