Overview

Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the security and upkeep of our school premises. As a registered key holder, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment. This is a full-time role with 10:00 – 19:00, Monday – Friday, with flexibility required dependent on business need.


Responsibilities

* Support the Premises Manager with building and grounds maintenance and routine maintenance programs
* Ensure cleanliness and assist with porterage and overseeing external contractors
* Undertake minor repairs, DIY projects, and refurbishment work within budgetary constraints
* Keep the site secure: open and lock-up, operate and maintain site security systems, and respond to emergency call-outs as necessary
* Participate in pre-planned maintenance and refurbishment projects to keep the school and site at required standards


What we are looking for

* Basic training, or practical experience in general maintenance and DIY
* Awareness of the need for strict hygiene and cleaning standards
* Understanding that the needs and safety of pupils and staff are a priority
* Good organisational skills, commitment to excellence, and flexibility
* Ability to communicate professionally
