With a strong brand promise centred around improving lives, they are continuing to invest in their claims function and are now looking to appoint an experienced Claims Specialist.

The Role
As a Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability claims, making key decisions within agreed authority limits while delivering outstanding customer support.
You will play a central role in ensuring claims are handled fairly, efficiently and in line with UK regulatory standards, while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the company’s claims proposition.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability claims within agreed authority limits
* Ensure claims are handled in line with UK legislation, industry guidelines and best practice
* Provide compassionate, customer-focused support throughout the claims journey
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
* Identify trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Support the development and growth of the disability claims offering
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience managing Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability claims
* Strong understanding of the UK protection insurance market and regulatory framework
* Experience working within agreed claims authority levels
* Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for achieving the best outcome for customers
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* CII claims qualification (desirable but not essential)
