Role Overview
The Kit Manager plays a key role in supporting the performance environment by ensuring players and staff have all necessary equipment, training gear, and match kits prepared, organised, and maintained to the highest standard.
This position is responsible for the daily management of kit and equipment operations, including laundering, inventory control, travel logistics, and dressing room preparation for both training sessions and fixtures. The role enables players and staff to focus fully on performance by delivering a professional, seamless service across the First Team and Development Squad.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Football Operations Manager in delivering efficient operational processes for the team
Distribute training kit daily to First Team players, Development Squad players and staff
Ensure all players and staff have the required kit and equipment for training and matches
Manage logistics for kit and equipment for all home and away fixtures
Organise, coordinate, and transport kit using club vehicles
Pack and prepare equipment for travel and load transport ahead of departures
Set up team dressing rooms and coaching staff areas ahead of fixtures
Assist with kit ordering and inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels
Liaise with the Football Operations Manager on all kit and equipment matters
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to club protocols at all times
Undertake additional duties as required
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong organisational and planning skills
Experience working in fast-paced environments
Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
Proven ability to work to deadlines
Experience working independently and managing processes from start to finish
Highly organised, resilient, and self-motivated
Strong attention to detail
Ability to use initiative and solve problems as they arise
