Job Description
Mechanical Fitter needed in Knaresborough Paying £300-£500 a day
Full time hrs on a temporary basis
Key responsibilities include:
* Rectifying mechanical asset problems (conveyor belts, pumps, gearboxes, valves, cranes)
* Performing fabrication work and general workshop duties
* Handling PPM and reactive maintenance, maintaining high standards
* Participating in planned outages
* Operating workshop machinery, fabrication, and refurbishment
* Promptly communicating problems for quick resolution
* Contributing to Maintenance Team KPIs
* Using the site CMMS system effectively
* Participating in team briefings and toolbox talks
* Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
* Working safely under a safe system of work
* Reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses
