The post holder will provide highly specialised assessment and formulation to parents/primary caregivers and their infants as well as deliver individualised evidence-based care packages where indicated including both group and individual therapeutic interventions. They will engage in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) working with colleagues, supporting relational and safeguarding risk planning and care planning for families. They will also promote the growing knowledge and skills regarding infant mental health across the early years system by offering consultation, advice and delivering training across the network. This post is based in Enfield and there will be frequent travel to family centres and CAMHS clinics located in Barnet Enfield and Haringey. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with other CAMHS colleagues within the pathway, families and their infants and young children to ensure that they are actively involved in setting goals and planning their care, parents/carers and with colleagues in Health, Education and Social Services in planning and delivery of services. Main duties of the job 1 1.To be a key point of contact for families/carers allocated to you, identifying gaps in their support and enabling the system to work together to bridge those gaps. 2. Where required, to provide high quality, direct support to the children and young people with complex needs and their families/carers when they need it most. 3. To work closely with generic CAMHS, local CAMHS providers (including crisis teams), social care and education to ensure that the system is working in a coordinated and joined up way for the young person and their family/carers and helping to reduce any blockages to accessing that support. 4. Facilitate the provision and implementation of tailored behavioural and emotional support to help a child or young person and their families/carers develop skills for progress and self-management to meet their agreed goals and outcomes 5. Communicate clearly with the child, young person and their family/carer to help them understand and navigate the system 6. Person Specification Qualifications/ Registration Essential
* Current professional registration: NMC,HCPC,ACP,UKCP & BABCP
* Qualification in a core mental health profession: o Nursing (RMN, RGN or RSCN) with additional therapeutic qualifications

Evidence of well-developed clinical skills.
* Proven qualities in sustaining the mental, emotional and physical demands of specialised therapeutic work with disturbed and distressed adolescents and their families/care networks.
* Ability to manage the multiple demands complex clinical environment
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience/ Knowledge Essential
* Experience of case load management. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Working knowledge and competence in at least one model of therapeutic work (e.g. Systemic, CBT, SFT, Psychodynamic).
* Proven qualities in sustaining the mental, emotional and physical demands of specialised therapeutic work with disturbed and distressed adolescents and their families/care networks.
* Understanding of NICE Guidelines for mental health disorders
Person Specification Qualifications/ Registration Essential

This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield, Haringey.
