Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £35k + Training & Benefits
Due to recently winning new contracts in the North West of England, our client is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team. You will be performing a wide variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties, working across a range of commercial and local authority premises. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate strong hands-on experience and will be able to hit the ground running. Our client is a highly respected name within the industry, who have a nationwide presence. Experience / Qualifications:
* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Ideally will have undertaken industry-related training courses (E.g. Legionella Awareness, TMV Servicing, Cleans and Disinfections)
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Proficient in using IT software
* Strong communication skills
The Role:
* TMV servicing
* Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers and cold water storage tanks
* Closed system sampling and dosing
* Outlet descales and basic flushing
* Showerhead disinfections
* Calorifier inspections
* Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Updating site logbooks
* Working to agreed deadlines
