Bid Manager (Cambridgeshire)

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for submitting completed bids at all stages to existing or prospective customers, working with the rest of the bid team to develop strategy, cost, programme and logistics, whilst ensuring all questions have been answered as fully as possible, positioning Morgan Sindall with the best possible chance of success.
You’ll plan and manage all aspects of bids, ensuring effective and inspirational bid management and leadership on all tenders, establishing winning strategies and implementing writing plans for quality lead bids. Understanding and interacting with the overall Morgan Sindall business to allow projection of benefits to customers through our proposals, you’ll propose and deliver our commercial, programme and risk management strategies, whilst providing support and assistance to our bid team members. You will lead and manage the PCSA stage of projects through to final contract agreement and coordinate the handover to a delivery team who will work alongside you throughout this process.
About You
As Bid Manager you’ll ideally be educated to HND and/or degree level, with a track record of winning profitable work within your role in Preconstruction. You will understand design and have good experience of tendering processes and management of the PCSA period of a project. You’ll have the ability to research our projects and clients to demonstrate an understanding of our client’s key drivers, effectively communicating our differentiators and approach. You’ll be competent in multiple software platforms including Microsoft Office, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
