Responsibilities The Design & Technology Teacher will deliver rigorous instruction across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level). The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting advanced design analysis, practical fabrication, and iterative problem-solving skills. They must lead engaging sessions utilizing the school’s workshops and contribute to the maintenance of equipment and safety programmes. The Design & Technology Teacher is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes, particularly for higher education pathways in engineering or design. The teacher must actively participate in departmental planning and support relevant co-curricular clubs. Requirements Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
