SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a fast-paced and growing organisation based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to further develop their management accounting experience within a supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
Post and maintain accruals and prepayments
Manage revenue accruals and deferrals
Perform variance analysis and provide commentary against budget
Match costs to revenue to ensure accurate reporting
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate financial discrepancies and liaise with internal departments to resolve queries
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
Requirements
Experience in a similar role
Studying towards ACCA / CIMA
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, IF statements)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team
System savvy
