Can you help pioneer innovative battery solutions of the future?
We are recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits specialist. The role holder will be responsible for working with our payroll provider to process payroll on a monthly basis and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running on the Payroll function.
This role will support with Payroll/Reward projects, answer Payroll queries on a daily basis and signpost information as required. As Agratas is on a scale-up journey in the UK, this role will support the delivery of payroll related and other adhoc HR projects as required.
You will also be responsible for working within our Reward & Benefits team to provide administrative support to our employee benefits schemes and ensure accurate payroll processing for these schemes.
This role will support with Reward/Payroll projects, provide general support and signpost information as required. As Agratas is on a scale-up journey in the UK, this role will support the delivery of Reward and other ad hoc HR projects as required.
This is a hybrid working role that will be based in our Coventry office. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable energy solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Your responsibilities include:
* Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely provision of the monthly payroll via our payroll provider.
* Gather and input monthly data including starters, leavers, sickness, overtime and expense claims.
* Administer payroll compliance as required e.g. PAYE, NIC, P11D’s, Pension and Auto-enrolment.
* Respond to employee Reward & Benefits queries.
* Assist with extracting payroll information and compiling reports as required.
* Manage and co-ordinate best practice processes to ensure the accurate processing of all pay related data.
* Administer our employee benefits programme. Ensure employee selections are feeding through to payroll and suppliers.
* Support employees with any benefits related questions.
* Work with employee benefits providers to deal with queries and reporting.
* Working with Finance to ensure appropriate PO cover and reporting is in place.
* Support cyclical Reward & Benefits activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in administering managed payroll services and payroll compliance.
* Experienced in using Excel and other MS Office tools.
* Experience in administering employee benefits schemes.
* Experience in handling benefit provider queries.
* Knowledge of payroll processes required to administer employee benefits (salary sacrifice etc.)
* Experience with outsourced payroll processing is essential

Desired
* Experience working with an outsourced payroll provider.
* Knowledge of payroll platforms (iTrent, ADP etc.)
* Knowledge of all cyclical payroll processes along with a thorough understanding of tax and other deductions.
