Description Class Teacher Inclusion Unit Primary Pay Band /Scale – MPS – UPS Not Suitable for an ECT Fixed Term with possibility of extension St George’s Beneficial CofE Primary School are recruiting for September 2026! We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and skilled primary practitioner who is looking for the chance to sink their teeth into something new. At St George’s we are delighted to be opening The Quay – a specialist inclusion centre for children with Cognition and Learning Needs. All applicants must have high expectations of children’s achievement regardless of their starting point and be committed to working to support children in mixed classes at varying ages and stages who may require an individualised approach to achieve their very best! You will need to have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in partnership with parents/carers, the mainstream school and our Governors, as well as the local authority and community to secure the best possible learning and teaching for all. The staff here are supportive, driven and friendly, with a range of skills and expertise to offer you an excellent initiation into school and into your new post. We are all equally excited to bring The Quay from blue-prints to a showstopper of an Inclusion Centre and require applicants to have some faith in how this will look as the building is in development. The successful candidate should be willing to teach across the primary phase (mainstream or Inclusion Centre) but must understand that classes and needs will be mixed.
