Job Description:
We are seeking an IBA Technician for a growing insurance brokerage. This role supports the Finance and Technical Processing team and involves:
* Bank reconciliation and cash matching
* Income ledger administration, including posting to IBS
* Preparation and processing of premium, commission, and claims payments
* Knowledge of banking systems for premium, commission, and claims payments
* Accurate record keeping using internal electronic data management systems
* Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, and unrealized brokerage
* Producing intracompany reports and schedules
* Resolving queries related to receipts of unexpected or unidentified funds
* Handling queries from clients and underwriters
* Collaborating with international offices and providing IBA support
* Managing tasks in a multi-currency and multi-company ledger environment
Requirements include:
* At least 2 years of experience in an IBA role
* Working knowledge of client money rules and insurance-related legal principles
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication skills, with the ability to understand problems and propose solutions
* Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
