The Mental Health Pharmacy team in Aberdeen is growing!
This is a new post for the Mental Health Pharmacy team and an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated pharmacist to join us. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary mental health teams providing patient centred clinical pharmacy care for in-patients and out-patients in Grampian. The post will allow the team to develop links with, and provide support for, colleagues in wider settings such as primary care.
You will have the opportunity to work across a range of clinical settings including, Adult Mental Health, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities, Rehabilitation, Forensic and Eating Disorders Services. You will also support the technician led medicines to deliver an efficient & responsive supply of medicines.
This post includes a commitment to rotational weekend working (approx. 1 day every 8 weekends) in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).
Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Previous experience in mental health is not essential and training will be provided. We are looking for candidates who have developed a solid foundation of skills to build on. Ideally you will have completed, be undertaking or willing to undertake post-registration training or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
Provisional date of Thursday 29th May has been set for interviews.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
