About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with ideally some IT skills. Communication should be considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, and performing maintenance tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or hanging wallpaper, always with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures for reporting concerns. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns as needed.
