New Business Account Executive
Location: Rugby
Salary: £28k - £35k + uncapped commission
Hours: Monday – Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Account Executive to join a growing commercial team. This role focuses on generating new revenue by engaging prospective clients, managing incoming enquiries, and converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.
You will work with a warm database of prospects as well as identifying new opportunities, playing a key role in the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate new business through outbound calls and targeted prospecting
Manage and develop opportunities from the company database
Respond to inbound enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
Conduct detailed consultations to understand client requirements and objectives
Prepare tailored proposals and quotations aligned to client needs
Clearly communicate options, pricing, and recommended solutions
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and opportunities within the CRM system
Issue written confirmations and supporting documentation once agreements are reached
Build strong relationships to support long-term client retention and repeat business
Support additional tasks as required by the management team
Key Performance Indicators
Achieve agreed new business revenue targets
Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
Effectively utilise the internal database to generate leads
Deliver high levels of customer engagement and conversion
About You
Previous experience in a new business, sales, or client-facing role
Confident communicator with strong telephone skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Target-driven and motivated by results
Comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
