Job Description
This new, impactful role will shape the future of our victim services through innovative collection and analysis of data. You will work closely with our Evidence and Insight team to develop reporting tools for monitoring service performance, using frontline intelligence and predictive data modelling to help predict future behaviours and service demands with Catch22 and Greater Manchester Police. Outside of the GMVS, you will also support the development of Evidence & Insight capability across the UK, influencing how we utilise organisational data.

Qualifications
Essential
* Level 2 in English and Maths
* Knowledge of analytical processes using well‑established methodologies and quality assurance to ensure accurate results.
* Experience in a data analysis role.
* Good communication and engagement skills, able to build professional relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Desirable
* A recognised higher qualification in a relevant field.
* Strong understanding of VBA, SQL & Dax.
Additional Requirements
Post‑holder must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and hold right to work in the UK. NPPV (non‑police personnel vetting) and police/DBS checks are required.
Contract
Permanent.
Hours & work pattern
Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary
Up to £31,000.
Location
1‑2 days per week in Greater Manchester Police HQ, Newton Heath; remainder of time remote and supporting victims in the community.
Interview Process
Face‑to‑face interviews with a technical task. Early application is strongly advised.
Screening
Successful admission to post subject to enhanced DBS check, police vetting check, and right‑to‑work confirmation.
