About the Role:
MPA Recruitment are proud to announce that we have been awarded as a supplier to the NHS for Support Services roles across all trust settings in Northern Ireland. These include hospitals, health centres, residential facilities, and community-based services. We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Cleaners to join busy healthcare environments. In this vital role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for patients, staff, and visitors alike. You will play a key part in infection prevention and control, supporting the overall delivery of quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out daily and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, and public areas.
* Ensure infection control policies are followed at all times.
* Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and clinical equipment as required.
* Safely use cleaning agents and equipment in line with training and Trust guidelines.
* Dispose of waste, including clinical waste, in accordance with health and safety protocols.
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
* Refill supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet rolls.
* Follow schedules and checklists, completing cleaning records as required.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a healthcare, commercial, or public setting
* Knowledge of COSHH and infection control procedures (training can be provided)
* Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Flexibility with shifts and locations, if needed
* An Enhanced Access NI disclosure will be required for this post
