About the role:
We are currently looking for a technically strong, creative, and passionate Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. Working within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking to take on responsibility.
The Ideal Candidate :
* Has 5 to 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience
* Is a confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply
* Is passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence
* Has a strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design
* Is committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design
* Enjoys engineering and passing on their knowledge through mentoring younger engineers
* Is near chartered or is a chartered member of the IStructE or ICE (or other relevant institution)
* Has the ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex projects.
* Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage time, resources, costs and communication within and outside the Practice.
