Our reception team are generally the first and last points of engagement with our guests therefore you should have a warm, friendly nature, be confident in dealing with people face to face, on the phone and be proficient when dealing with computers.
We are looking for someone who has experience of guest facing hotel work however your personality is the key ingredient for this role so if you've had experience in other areas of hospitality then please also apply.
You will be a natural communicator and enjoy talking to people and take pride in the quality of service which you provide to our guests.
* Create reservations using the property management system
* Handle enquiries from customer room accommodations and rates and negotiate where necessary
* Take cash & credit/debit card payments
* Answer the phone and direct phone calls
* Respond to guest comments, complaints, requests or enquiries
* Follow reception shift procedures for opening/closing and daily tasks
* Be the point of contact for all guests both resident and non resident.
* Light cleaning duties in/around the reception area
* Assist with other operational tasks within food & beverage areas at peak times
* Liaise with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
