New Casual Assistant opportunities in Cumbernauld We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our casual worker bank, based at our Campsie Gardens development in Cumbernauld. Campsie Gardens offers safe and secure homes designed especially for those aged 60 and over. Successful applicants may also assist at our close by development in Cumbernauld, Hillcrest Court. The Role You will be responsible for undertaking a range of duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development. You will also assist by preparing the dining room for mealtimes, heating prepared meals and delivering them to tenants. On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required. Role Requirements - Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided. - You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance. - REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
