It is an exciting period of growth for the company as a new wheelchair service for West Berkshire will be established from​ 15th August 2025 ​to provide NHS wheelchair services including clinical assessments, specialist seating, delivery, repairs and maintenance. This role would be based around West Berkshire with travel to our Service Centre within Harrow. What we are looking for: We are seeking to recruit a Rehabilitation Assistant to join our brand new Integrated Wheelchair Service clinical team. You will support our clinical team by conducting assessments with our NHS Wheelchair users in various settings within the surrounding areas ensuring outstanding customer experience is maintained throughout. You will showcase an empathic and resilient approach when faced with challenging situations with the ability to work collaboratively with our customer service, logistics, and the wider clinical teams. You will ensure best practice is maintained throughout whilst receiving professional guidance from the Clinical Lead. Key Responsibilities: Assist with planning and providing individual programmes of therapeutic activities tailored to the service user. Set up service user equipment ensuring maximum function may be derived following recommendations from a senior member of the clinical team. Make routine follow-up contact with service users using a range of assistive technologies Ensuring accuracy and completeness of information when using our database system.
