Our well known client is looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover Scotland, Borders, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. This role is for their Lawn and Garden range.
Salary: £53,500
This is a field-based role; therefore, a full driving license and the ability to travel within the region with flexibility for frequent overnight stays are required.

The primary responsibility is to achieve commercial objectives through effective account management of the Franchised Dealer Network, focusing on unit sales, parts sales, and dealer support, especially for the robotic range. The role involves working closely with dealers to develop strong partnerships and support mutual objectives.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as the primary link between the dealer network and the client, fostering proactive partnerships at all levels.
* Contribute to sales and marketing strategies, sharing best practices for marketing and promotional activities related to Miimo.
* Ensure retailers receive adequate product and sales training to support their objectives.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of Miimo's features, benefits, and technical aspects to deliver credible training and coaching (training provided).
* Forecast monthly sales accurately and meet or exceed sales targets with appropriate countermeasures when necessary.
* Manage and motivate dealer staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve divisional goals.
* Develop medium and long-term plans for dealer and network growth aligned with strategic objectives.
* Coordinate local promotions, shows, PR activities, and utilize national show programs for product promotion.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Required:
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of selling and meeting targets.
* Experience working collaboratively to achieve objectives.
* Analytical skills for data analysis and presentation.
* Understanding of the dealer or distributor sector.
* Proficiency in Excel; intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint.
* Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the sector and competitor activity.
* Experience in a manufacturer/retail environment.
