An R&D engineering business is looking for a practical, hands-on Electronic Technician to support a wide range of test equipment, PCBs, and instrumentation. Youll be joining a small support team working on advanced engineering and simulation projects - a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, real-world technical work in a collaborative environment. Day-to-Day: Building and modifying electronics systems from schematics PCB fault-finding, soldering, rework and diagnostics Supporting instrumentation setup for data acquisition and test rigs Performing and recording equipment calibrations Maintaining documentation, registers and lab setups to support project teams Working to quality standards in lab and cleanroom environments Youll Need: Apprenticeship, HNC, or hands-on technician experience in electronics Good understanding of basic electronics and confidence with test tools Comfortable with circuit diagrams, wiring harnesses, sensors Practical approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn Experience in a structured engineering environment (production, test, or calibration) This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to stay hands-on, be part of a supportive technical team, and develop deeper skills over time.
