Academics are working with a supportive and friendly secondary school in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire to find a caring, energetic and dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to join their committed and friendly team.

The Role
As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of our students. You will be the first point of contact for everyday student issues-helping to resolve disputes, supporting students who may be struggling, and encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Offering daily support to students, helping with minor disputes, missing property and lesson transitions.
* Supporting Heads of Year and senior staff with behaviour, attendance and pastoral care.
* Assisting with detentions, record-keeping and pastoral administration.
* Liaising with parents and carers, and responding to queries in a timely, professional manner.
* Promoting and modelling the Academy's Christian values and safeguarding the welfare of all students.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, thrives as part of a team and can demonstrate initiative and empathy. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
