Job Description:
Hart Learning & Development is seeking a passionate and dynamic Employability Tutor to join our team. If you're an inspiring educator who brings energy, creativity, and commitment to your teaching, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be delivering short, impactful courses to unemployed residents across Herts, Beds, and Bucks, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to re-enter the workforce. This role involves both the delivery and assessment of a range of Level 1 programmes and qualifications, with a particular focus on digital skills and supporting learners facing barriers to employment.
This is more than a teaching role — it’s a chance to change lives.
About the Organisation:
Hart Learning and Development is the business arm of North Hertfordshire College. We deliver Apprenticeships, traineeships, and professional qualifications locally, nationally, and regionally.
Our Apprenticeships Offer focuses on Health, Business, Construction Trades, management, and professional courses, providing training to large clients such as John Lewis Partnership and Lloyds Banking Group, as well as local SMEs. We employ 50 staff and have an annual turnover of £5,000,000.

The Hart Learning Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff are expected to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, as our posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013, and 2020. It is an offence to apply for a role if you have been barred from working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults. During the recruitment process, an online search may be conducted to identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online. If any incidents or issues are identified, the Group may want to explore these with you at the interview. Applicants must provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
