Cabrini’s Cardiac Catheterisation Lab
Cabrini’s Cardiac Catheter Labs are housed in a state-of-the-art and rapidly expanding Perioperative Services facility, with 24 operating theatres—including a hybrid theatre, three endoscopy suites and three cardiac catheter labs. As part of our growth, we have recently added an additional world class catheter lab and four theatres, further increasing our capability and capacity in 2026.
Our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories perform over 3000 procedures a year. More than 30 cardiologists, representing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, have regular sessions within the Laboratory. Our Cath Labs are technology-driven, patient-focused, and designed for excellence. With advanced Interventional, Electrophysiology (EP), and Structural Heart capabilities, we are committed to providing the highest standard of cardiac care in a collective and innovative environment.
Elective services are offered Monday to Friday however a 24 hour on-call service is available to support the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit.
How you will make an impact:
1. Take on a pivotal role in a high-performing team delivering support for Interventional, EP, and Structural procedures providing a high-quality service in physiological monitoring and ECG interpretation during cardiac procedures and/or pacemaker testing
2. Drive innovation and best practice in a well-established and mature program
3. Practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care in accordance with legislation and protocols.
What we’re looking for:
4. Cardiac Technicians Certificate/diploma or relevant tertiary degree
5. Strong clinical skills in ECG interpretation in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
6. Experience in interventional, and structural heart procedures (12-18 months experience preferred), with EP skills desired or a willing commitment from our candidate to upskill to EP procedures
7. A commitment to clinical excellence and quality patient care
