Complex Needs Support Assistant – Market Rasen, Lincolnshire

GSL Education is looking for a Compassionate and Resilient Complex Needs Support Assistant to work in a specialist school in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), complex medical needs, Autism, or physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with a range of complex needs
* Assist with communication, mobility, sensory activities, and personal care (where required)
* Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and medical staff to deliver individual learning and care plans
* Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment to promote learning and independence
* Offer emotional reassurance and consistent routine to help pupils thrive
✅ Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with complex SEN or PMLD
* A calm, patient, and empathetic attitude
* Willingness to assist with personal care and manual handling (training can be provided)
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via GSL)
* Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time
