These include: · Competitive salary, including unsociable hours shift allowance · Annual bonus up to 5% (depending on company performance) · Free onsite parking · My DHL Rewards (discount, saving, cash back at over 3000 retailers) · Pension Scheme with up to 6% company contribution · DHL Share Purchase Plan (after 3 months) · Private Medical Scheme (after 12 months) · Access to Occupational Health · Enhanced Maternity pay (after 12 months) · Cycle to Work scheme · CIS Induction – a week’s all expenses paid induction to our Company Values! · HealthyMinds – Employee Assistance Programme Key responsibilities: · Prepare loadsheets and load plans using SABLE in full compliance with GSAM procedures. · Oversee the safe loading and unloading of aircraft, ensuring all activity aligns with GSAM standards. · Liaise effectively with P52 party handlers, stakeholders, and party shippers to support smooth operations. · Coordinate container allocations for both aircraft and road vehicles. · Arrange aircraft fuelling and de‑icing as required. · Ensure all NMIV messaging is completed accurately and on time. · Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external parties (e.g., LEJ, SDC, LHR). · Compile and submit all required reports in a timely manner. · Complete dangerous goods checks and prepare declarations via RCTS. · Support and coordinate crew requirements as needed. · Assist with ramp, sort, and warehouse activities when required. · Manage acceptance and clearance processes for inbound and outbound freight. · Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety, GSAM guidelines, and all regulatory requirements. All employees are responsible for their own health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as that of colleagues who may be affected by their actions or omissions. You are expected to: · Report all accidents, near misses, and workplace hazards. · Follow all safe systems of work. · Wear the correct PPE at all times. You’ll bring to this role: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. · Strong working knowledge of Outlook for professional communication. · Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective communication and proactive initiative. · Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines within a time‑critical environment. · High level of attention to detail. · Strong team orientation with the ability to build and develop positive working relationships. · Good level of maths and English.
IT skills required.
