Our client is a sizeable, long-standing agency in Central Manchester, who are looking to bring in a heavyweight Business Development Director. Our Client They havea range of B2B and B2C clients across key industries, including Retail, Renewable Energy, Food & Drink, Health & Wellness and Leisure. A sizeable agency with over 50 people, they have a great culture with lots of excellent benefits. The Role The CEO has historically led all of the agencies new business activity but looking to bring in someone for the first time to take over this responsibility, a heavyweight agency Business Development Director. This is truly an open brief. They want someone who will drive demand and cause resource issues. They know that this is a small number of new client relationships and understand that takes time. They’re not looking for short term projects or small businesses. You You’ll have an extensive Business Development background, perhaps you’ve even run your own agency previously, or you have ambitions to progress to MD level. You’ll have a track record of pursuing large brands and successfully bringing them in, and understand that this takes time and a considered, thoughtful approach. You’ll be pragmatic, commercially driven, with the gravitas to talk to big business about their problems. What’s in it for you
