Our Pharmacists are an integral part of a patients care plan, so you will have the opportunity to interact with patients across various departments to find out their pharmaceutical requirements, review medication history, current prescriptions and relevant clinical data.

Shifts would be any days Mon - Sun.
Job responsibilities
* Treat patients with empathy and compassion.
* Provide advice and support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians to ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost‑effective use of medicines throughout the hospital.
* Build strong working relationships with colleagues and consultants to improve patient outcomes.
* Suggest new processes and equipment to improve health outcomes and increase safety throughout the hospital.
* Spend the majority of time on the ward: talk to and support patients with discharge medicines, counsel on side effects and intake requirements.
* Dispensary work is minimal; the role focuses predominantly on ward patient support.
Who we're looking for
* Master's degree in pharmacy, or equivalent at time of qualification.
* Current member of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient requirements.
* Previous experience as a pharmacist within a hospital setting or community.
* Experience of working in partnership with consultants and across clinical teams.
* Competence across a range of pharmaceutical subjects supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
* Minimum of 1‑2 shifts per week.
