Location: Bridgwater
Pay Rate: £89 per day
Contract: Full-time – Term Time Only (Temporary or Long-term)
Hours: 8:45am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Support a Child’s Journey in Education
We are looking for a patient and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming rural primary school in Bridgwater. You’ll provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement consistent strategies that promote engagement, independence, and emotional regulation in a nurturing, structured environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide personalised 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with complex SEND needs
* Work with the teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning strategies and behaviour plans
* Encourage confidence, resilience, and social interaction in class and during play
* Support transitions, daily routines, and structured activities
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and calm classroom environment
