Responsibilities include:
1. Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established portion control procedures.
2. Maintain a clean work station following sanitary regulations.
3. Examine diet orders, make necessary changes, and process new diets.
4. Assist with meal preparation by providing food requirements information to kitchen staff.
5. Answer calls and relay information regarding meal changes, complaints, or patient discharge.
6. Prepare and deliver nourishments to unit pantries as needed.
7. Dispose of food and waste properly.
8. Collect food trucks, clear trays, and wash dishes per facility policy.
9. Serve food according to patients' dietary needs.
10. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information, and report any incidents of unauthorized disclosure.
11. Perform other related duties as requested.
