Management Accountant Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple business units, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.Support budget holders by providing financial analysis and account reviews.Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.Manage and update fixed asset registers.Prepare quarterly VAT returns.Coordinate financial information from overseas operations.Post monthly journals to the general ledger.Conduct ad hoc analysis or produce reports as required.Additional Information
Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.Competence with various software, including spreadsheets and database systems.Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.Confidence in engaging with both financial and non-financial managers at all levels.
