Quality Control Team Leader
Location: Worcester Park, UK
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm (Some flexibility needed)

About The Company: The business is a multi-site, global pharmaceutical company specializing in a niche yet rapidly evolving sector. They are at the forefront of innovation, having recently introduced two new groundbreaking products and state-of-the-art equipment to their operations.
The Role: As QC Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the product lines. You will lead and manage a team of 5 skilled QC Analysts, steering the strategic direction of the QC department while remaining actively involved in hands-on day-to-day lab activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the QC team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
2. Develop and implement QC strategies to meet business goals and regulatory requirements.
3. Perform hands-on testing, including HPLC and other relevant techniques, when required to support the team during peak times.
4. Ensure compliance with GMP standards, maintaining a robust and efficient QC process.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products and equipment.
About You:
6. Strong experience working within QC/ analytical department at a senior level
7. Some previous line management experience
8. Strong background in HPLC and other relevant testing techniques.
9. Hands-on approach, with a willingness to actively participate in lab work.
10. In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations.
11. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
