Fire Supervisor – Multiple FRA Contracts (Permanent Role)
Location: On the road / Various Sites
We are seeking experienced Supervisors to lead multiple FRA contracts across London and surrounding areas. Candidates can come from either a fire stopper or carpenter background and should be looking to step up into a supervisory position. You will be responsible for overseeing high-quality passive fire protection works, ensuring all installations comply with the latest regulations, manufacturer specifications, and client requirements.
This is a hands‑on supervisory role, where you may continue to carry out some fire stopping works while managing a team. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of passive fire protection principles are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supervise multiple FRA contracts across sites, leading teams of fire stoppers and carpenters
* Carry out fire stopping installations when required, including fire‑resistant partitions, service penetration sealing, linear joint sealing, soffit insulation, curtain wall fire protection, and structural fire protection works
* Interpret and follow site drawings, specifications, RAMS, and manufacturer guidelines
* Ensure all works meet passive fire protection regulations and industry best practice
* Record work accurately using compliance logs, installation sheets, and photographic evidence
* Coordinate efficiently with site teams, project managers, and clients
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering strictly to company and site Health & Safety requirements
What You’ll Bring
Essential
* Experience in passive fire protection or carpentry, with a desire to step into a supervisory role
* Strong understanding of fire‑resistant partitions, curtain walling, fire protection, and service penetration sealing
* Ability to read drawings, understand specifications, and follow installation instructions
* Proficiency with a wide range of fire stopping products and hand tools
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong communication, documentation, and team management skills
* Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast‑paced construction environment
* NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
Desirable
* Experience working under accredited schemes such as FIRAS or BM TRADA
* Knowledge of industry compliance documentation and reporting requirements
