What you'll do
The role of a Customer Service Consultant is to provide excellent service by educating customers on digital platforms, raising fraud awareness, and supporting vulnerable customers to ensure financial inclusion. We value passionate, helpful individuals who enjoy delivering exceptional customer experiences. Previous experience is helpful but not essential; we focus on your ability to communicate and care for customers.

Within this role you will:
* Be the first point of contact for customers, understanding their needs and providing outstanding service.
* Educate customers about HSBC digital services and fraud prevention.
* Identify vulnerable customers and support them appropriately.
* Assist customers with complex banking needs to ensure they feel supported.

* Ownership of customer inquiries from start to finish, delivering personalized, friendly, and efficient service.

When & where you'll work
Full-time roles are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, and Saturday 09:00-13:30 (not all branches open on Saturday). If on a student visa, check restrictions on working hours. Support for other branches may be available, with expenses reimbursed.
Your training
You will receive comprehensive in-branch training over 9 days, spread across 3 weeks, covering job specifics, systems, products, and services. Attendance is mandatory.
What you’ll get
Starting salary of £26,000 for 35 hours/week, plus a discretionary annual bonus, over six weeks’ holiday (including bank/public holidays), access to discounts, life assurance, benefits platform, and sharesave schemes.
